The Summit
- 1 oz Flying Ace Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 1 oz Scotch
- .5 oz Fernet-Branca
- 3-5 dashes Angostura bitters
- Sage leaves, garnish
- Salt, garnish
To make the The Summit, rim glass with salt. Set aside. In a cocktail shaker, muddle sage leaves, then mix bourbon, scotch, Fernet-Branca, and bitters. Shake until chilled. Strain into a glass and garnish with sage.
Pine on the Mountain
- 2 oz Flying Ace Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 1 oz pine simple syrup, adjust to taste
- 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
- Pine sprig, garnish
Stir all ingredients except pine sprig over ice, then strain into a double rocks glass over one large ice cube. Garnish with pine sprig.
Fennel and Peppercorn Sazerac
- 2 oz Flying Ace Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- .5 oz fennel simple syrup
- 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
- 1 barspoon peppercorn tincture
- Absinthe ist for the glass
- Lemon peel
To make the Fennel and Peppercorn Sazerac, chill glass and add 1 to 2 spritzes of absinthe to the glass. Combine Flying Ace Straight Bourbon Whiskey, fennel simple syrup, bitters and tincture in a mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir until well-chilled, about 30 seconds. Strain into your chilled, rinsed, or misted glass and express the lemon peel over the drink. Discard the lemon peel.
Thyme is on our Side
- 2 oz Flying Ace Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 1 oz orange thyme simple syrup
- Orange wedge, garnish
In a cocktail shaker mix all ingredients except orange wedge with ice and shake vigorously. Strain and serve over ice. Garnish with an orange wedge.
Just Peachy Bourbon Iced Tea
- 2 oz Flying Ace Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- Simple syrup, to taste
- 1 whole peach
- 4 oz Black Tea
- Lemon wedge, garnish
Cut and core 1 whole peach- puree until smooth. Add bourbon, tea, simple syrup and ice, and stir until smooth. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
